Staying with Sunchalet

Sunchalet, aims to provide a very personal service and make your holiday as stress free and relaxing as possible.

We offer catered and self catered accommodation from two person apartments, to family sized chalets or accommodation for large groups of up to 30.

As part of our service we help organise any activities you would like to experience, such as paragliding, via ferrata climbing, canyoning, walking, biking etc., just let us know in advance and we will do our best to make it all happen!

We offer a catered service at Chalet Fan la Bise or in the main chalet of Chalet Pre-Fleuri. We offer 2 courses in the summer, a main course and dessert with a choice of fruit or cheese as an extra course if anyone is still hungry. Wine is also included and we offer a choice of refreshing Rose, chilled white, or fruity reds.

Our summer menus incorporate mainly light meals, with fresh vegetables and a carbohydrate (potatoes, polenta, pasta or coucous). We also incorporate a few traditional local dishes. So you get a true taste of the Savoyard region during your stay.

We offer a wide range of vegetarian dishes, and we ask our guests to let us know when booking if they have any food allergies, dietary requirments or need a vegetarian menu, as we can re-adjust the weekly menus accordingly. Similarily don't hesitate to let us know your likes and dislikes in advance, i.e red meat, fish, mushrooms etc.

Our 'exclusive use' catered guests now have the added option of pre-selecting the daily menus in advance of their stay. Take a look at this seasons new menu, for a taste of our chalet cuisine.] 

At Catered Chalet Fan La Bise or Chalet Pre-Fleuri your hosts Dave and Sam Pentin will offer you a warm welcome.

Both are arts graduates and escapees from the nine-to-five life, they decided to relocate to the French Alps they love so much in order to lead a more active, healthy family lifestyle and they have never looked back. With personal experience in 'all things active' especially the ski industry and catering, their enthusiasm for the environment and location, is hard to ignore.

Throughout our lives we have taken both winter and summer holidays within Europe and particularly France. We have stayed in a lot of different types of accommodation, but always found that chalet holidays were the most fun. Staying and working with other holiday companies has inspired us to add something special to Chalet Fan La Bise and your holiday, and we hope you will agree. Our previous guests certainly do and over the last five years their feedback has been supportive and very heartening, some guests returning year after year, sometimes twice in a year. 

As part of our service can provide transfers to and from Geneva airport, Chambery airport and Annecy train station. Geneva and Chambery airports are just an hour from La Clusaz, while Annecy train station is just 30 minutes. We also offer our catered guests a 10% reduction.

Our standard Geneva airport transfer rates for groups are: 1-4 £60pp, 5-6 £55pp, 7-8 £50pp.

For catered guests staying at Chalet Fan La Bise without their own transport, we also offer a minibus service to and from the town. Or If you want to do your own thing the summer buses are very easy and convenient, passing within 200m the chalet. Summer buses run also regularily throughout July and August in St Jean de Sixt just 200m from Chalet Pre-Fleuri to either la Clusaz or Le Grand Bornand.
